Terms of Service

Welcome to Walleaf. By using this App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. Service Description

Walleaf is a personal asset and investment tracker designed to help you organize accounts, transactions, holdings, cash, liabilities, allocations, and portfolio trends. Walleaf is not a brokerage, bank, advisory firm, exchange, or financial institution.

2. Responsibility for Accounts and Data

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter. Net worth, profit/loss, and allocation ratios are calculated based on your inputs and system formulas, and may differ from broker statements or bank balances. Local data loss (including unbacked data, device damage, accidental deletion, or overwrites) is your responsibility. If your plan supports backups, we recommend regular use. Restoring a backup replaces current data and cannot recover overwritten content.

3. Free and Subscription Plans

Walleaf may offer a free version and a paid subscription, Walleaf Plus. Features, account/holding limits, backups, imports, privacy lock, and other functions are defined in the App and App Store descriptions. Subscriptions renew, cancel, and refund under Apple Media Services terms. Data created remains after cancellation, but Plus features may be disabled until conditions are met or you resubscribe.

4. Demo Mode

Demo mode uses sample data for feature previews. Demo data is not written to your actual ledger and does not reflect real markets or your assets. Exiting demo mode returns you to your real data.

5. Cloud Quotes and Connectivity

Stock prices and exchange rates are retrieved from third-party sources via backend services. Availability may be affected by delays, errors, or outages. Offline use or backend connection failures may prevent updates. We may implement rate limits to maintain stability.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing purposes. You may not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, interfere with, or excessively call APIs. You may not use the App for money laundering, insider trading, regulatory violations, or other illegal activities. Commercialized account management or multi-user shared ledgers are prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing.

7. Intellectual Property

The App's software, interface, trademarks (including the Walleaf name and identity), and related content are owned by the operator or licensors, except where rights cannot be restricted by law. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App.

8. Termination

You may stop using and delete the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate services (including backend APIs) due to violations, legal requirements, or operational needs, and will make reasonable efforts to notify or announce such actions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walleaf provides services "as is." We strive to maintain stability but do not guarantee complete accuracy, timeliness, uninterrupted service, or fitness for specific purposes. Walleaf is not liable for investment losses, data loss, profit loss, business loss, or other indirect damages arising from use or inability to use the App. Unless prohibited by law, Walleaf's liability for any single event is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the event.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Disputes arising from these terms or the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court in Taiwan as the court of first instance. If you are a consumer, you may still exercise rights under consumer protection laws or local regulations.

11. Updates to Terms

We may revise these terms. Updates will be announced in the App or on our website. Major changes will be reasonably highlighted. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
